In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Baseer Ali clarified the rumors regarding his absence from “Kundali Bhagya.” He explained that he was on a break, which is why he was missing from the show. Baseer revealed, “Well, that’s untrue. I had gone on a vacation and resumed the show after that. I hadn’t been on a vacation in a long time and thus took some time off. I am currently on a notice period and haven’t received clarity over my exit from the show. I am still waiting for the people in charge to update me on the same.” His statement sheds light on the situation, indicating that his future on the show is still uncertain.
The actor further elaborated on the reason for his possible exit from “Kundali Bhagya.” He shared that his expectations from the show were not met. In his own words: “I believe there was a miscommunication. I was expecting something else from the show. I had a few discussions with the team, but things don’t seem to work according to my expectations, so I decided to move on. I would love to take up something meatier in the future. Having said that, I have immense gratitude for the makers. This was my debut as an actor, and I loved essaying Shaurya Luthra so far. It has been a fun ride.”
