Neeraj Goyat’s entry into the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house was marked by enthusiasm and high expectations, both from him and the show’s fans. As an accomplished Indian professional boxer, Neeraj brought a unique dynamic to the reality show, intriguing viewers with his background and persona. However, his journey in the Bigg Boss house was unexpectedly short-lived, as he faced eviction after just five days, much to the surprise of the housemates and the audience alike.
In an exclusive interview with DNA India following his eviction from Bigg Boss OTT 3, Indian professional boxer Neeraj Goyat expressed his frustration and disappointment over his early exit from the show. Neeraj called his eviction “totally unfair” and lamented that he didn’t get the chance to showcase his personality. “Bilkul unfair tha, mujhe meri personality batana ka mauka hi nahi mila. Bahut hi galat hua mere saath (It was totally unfair, I did not get a chance to express my personality),” he stated.
Neeraj’s eviction was the result of a nomination by ‘the outsider’ Sana Sultan. He voiced his disappointment towards Sana, saying, “Woh mujhe do din mein samaj hi nahi payi. 14 contestants mere support mein the, sirf ek ladki ka sunn ke mujhe bahar nikala, yeh toh bahut hi galat kiya (Sana didn’t get along with me. 14 contestants supported me. I got evicted because of one girl’s opinion. This was unjustified).”
Within the first week, the housemates were divided into groups, with YouTubers like Shivani Kumari, Lovekesh Kataria, Vishal Pandey, and Amraan–Payal–Kritika Malik on one side, and actors like Ranvir Shorey, Sai Ketan Rao, Sana Sultan, and Sana Makbul Khan on the other. There were also instances of misbehavior by Lovekesh and Vishal towards Ranvir Shorey. Neeraj commented on this behavior, asserting the importance of respecting seniors. “Hume seniors ki respect karni chaiye. Yeh baat aur hai ki YouTubers wala debate Ranvir ji ne shuru kiya. But still, we should not misbehave. This is what I believe and was promoting in the house, but I didn’t get a chance to express it and got evicted.”
Neeraj also shared his views on the strongest and least deserving contestants in the house. He praised Deepak Chaurasia as the strongest player and named Sana Sultan as the least deserving, calling her “fake.” “I think woh bahut fake hai. Kisi ke saath uski nahi banti. Mooh pe kuch bolti hai, aur peeth peeche kuch aur bolti hai (I think she is very fake. She doesn’t get along with anyone. She acts like a friend on your face and then backstabs you).”
Furthermore, Neeraj claimed that he was not given enough footage in the episodes, with much of his time in the house, including his morning workout sessions, not being shown. “Mujhe bahut kam dikhaya hai. Mera morning workout training hoti hai, woh nahi dikhai. Mere fans live telecast footage se clips nikal rahe hai and social media pe dal rahe hai. (I have not been given enough footage. My morning workout training was not shown. My fans are taking clips from the live telecast footage and sharing them on social media).”
Neeraj concluded the interview with the hope of being called back as a wild-card contestant, expressing his desire to expose Sana Sultan’s hypocrisy if given a second chance in the BB House. Bigg Boss OTT 3 is currently streaming on JioCinema Premium.
