Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel, contestants of ‘Bigg Boss 17’, have recently called it quits on their relationship. Samarth confirmed the breakup a few days ago, and now Isha has also opened up about it. In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Isha revealed that the breakup happened right after their exit from Bigg Boss.
Isha-Samarth broke up immediately after Bigg Boss
“The breakup happened immediately after we came out of Bigg Boss. I still remember that at the Holi party, Samarth and I were trying to pretend that we were still on good terms. We were talking and dancing, but after that, it wasn’t working out. So, we gave closure to ourselves, and we moved on. If things aren’t working out right now, there’s no point in forcing it,” she was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.
Isha to focus on her career
Addressing her approach to personal relationships, the 20-year-old actor told Hindustan Times, “I have always done what I liked and will continue to do so. But I have to listen to my parents. Their take on my personal life is that these things will keep happening, so focus on them later. Right now, it’s very important for me to focus on my professional life. This time won’t come back, and I don’t want to regret later that when I had time to work, I was involved in other things. So, I am listening to my parents now, and whatever has happened, has happened.”
Isha on scrutiny around her personal life
She was previously in a relationship with her Udaariyaan co-actor Abhishek Kumar, who was also a contestant on This Show. He entered the show as a wild card entry, putting Isha in an uncomfortable position since she had previously stated on the show that she wasn’t dating anyone. Her personal life was then scrutinized on national television.
Acknowledging the scrutiny that comes with being a public figure, She said, “I don’t regret anything. I made the decision to leave, and I’m handling things that come my way on my own terms.”
Isha further mentioned that she is focusing on her work and is happy.
