Anurag revealed getting diagnosed with brain tumor at the age of 6
Anurag Dobhal, when discussing his background, revealed that he was born into a middle-class family. While preparing for his entrance exam to enter the teaching profession, the social media personality expressed a passion for exploring new foods and places. However, the concept of Moto vlogging was unfamiliar to him at the time.
Anurag aspired to own a KTM bike, seeing it as a crucial step to be part of the ‘cool gang.’ To finance this dream, he started giving tuition classes at a rate starting from Rs 300. This effort marked the initial stride towards realizing his aspirations.
Reflecting on this journey, the YouTuber shared, “I managed to save Rs 1 lakh by the end of the year and informed my father about my desire to buy the bike, explaining that I was aiming to build a career through YouTube. Trusting me, he provided the necessary financial support.” Anurag Dobhal recalled the joyous moment when he celebrated reaching 500 subscribers on YouTube by dancing with excitement.

Anurag Dobhal also opened up about the health challenges he encountered during his childhood. He disclosed that he battled a brain tumor at the age of 6, and his family underwent difficult times. Recounting his experience, the Bigg Boss contestant stated, “My family condition was not that great while growing up. I was 6 when I was diagnosed with a tumor, and until I turned 14, I was on total medication. After suffering from a brain tumor, I was totally off for the next three years. I used to get fits, I was very weak, and I used to have blackouts.”
Aside from his health struggles, Anurag Dobhal also faced financial hardships. He revealed that his father’s salary was only Rs 1200 at that time, and he developed Asthma due to his medical condition. The inhaler he needed cost around Rs 300. Anurag added, “So just imagine, in that salary, my father would spend Rs 300 on an inhaler which would only last for a month, plus other medication.”
